Chairs and Elbows

It's best to have a chair that goes up and down.

Your forearms need to be level.

Hold your arms out a little in front of you. Bend your wrists so your hands point down. Wiggle your fingers. Pay attention to the amount of strain on the tendons in your wrists.

Do the same thing but with your hands pointed up. Wiggle your fingers. Pay attention to the amount of strain on the tendons in your wrists.

Now straighten your wrists and with your fingers pointing away from you wiggle your fingers.

Always keep your forearms level when you type or you might get repetitive stress injuries (and need a brace or an operation).

Raise or lower your chair so your forearms are level with the floor.
